I was wrong

Things got worse. So much worse.

Bruce Edwin Hall: 4 April 1964 – 12 August 2017

DIY Guy we miss you very, very much.

…..

Scattered by the wind
washed by the rain
and transformed by the sun,
all doubts are swept away
and all restraints cast down.

Fly free spirit, fly
to the clouds in the heavens,
transformed by the sun,
with all doubts swept away
and all restraints cast down.
All restraints cast down.

  1. Yeah, I thought that too. Thank you for all your help with making arrangements for Bruce. I couldn’t have coped without you. We’ve got so many memories to help us through, and heaps of tissues.

    • We have. So many great memories. Come and visit soon, we can share tea and a box of tissues. Hugs.

  2. That poem is a little bit of something beautiful amongst a whole lot of terrible.

  3. Wow!!! Was just looking at wedding photos with the girls and going to send you some copies to reminisce.
Once again reminded each day is a gift, even if it is painful.
Old Friend thinking of you all ❤️

    • Oh yes, please send through some photos. It was a lovely wedding day; roses, Pachelbel’s Cannon, croquembouche, all of us so young!! X

  4. Hello, my name is P. I am Bruce’s friend. L and I met him in a cooking class long time ago. Today just found this saddest news from google as I searching for his news … I was shocked!

I am now living in Thailand and I need to be back Auckland …. to visit him one last time. Maybe January …

Please kindly tell me which cemetery?

    Thank you so much.
    Deepest condolences.
