It is an excuse for some pretty pictures\u00a0of chickens, and a way for me to assuage my guilt about not posting recently. I&#8217;ll explain why soon. Get ready, we&#8217;ve been working on a Big\u00a0Project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">_________________________<\/p>\n<p>A few weeks ago I trimmed back the thyme and lavender in the Mediterranean garden. Each year the Forbearing Husband says &#8216;No more chicks&#8217;, and then&#8230; Well if you&#8217;ve been reading this blog for a while you can <a href=\"http:\/\/www.charmedlife.co.nz\/cowboybootsandbrokenfingers\/no-puppies\/\" target=\"_blank\">guess the rest<\/a>. The girls have\u00a0hatched five babies\u00a0so far this season.
